My First Trip to Brisbane, Goldcoast

My first trip to overseas - a 6D 5N trip to Brisbane Goldcoast. We departed on Tue 9 Dec 08 at Changi Airport T1 on board QF52 to our destination. Wow, what a trip!

Mummy packed my stuff with the help of the following link - however, reality is always different :)

http://www.babycenter.com/packing-checklist-for-traveling-with-toddler

1. Diapers - 6 should be more than enough (PS:there is a diaper changing room
in the plane)
2. Hand & Mouth Wipes - the more the 'merrier'
3. Baby Wipes - this is 'MUST' but I only get to poo on the 5th day (mummy got worried about this)
4. Pad for diaper changes - Mummy forgot to bring this for me
5.
Blanket (s) - should bring at least TWO
6. Plastic bags - to store soiled diapers etc (this comes in handy though)
7.
A bottle of disinfecting hand gel - we didnt get to use it at all
8. Tissues - this is a 'MUST' coz my Mummy is a 'Tissue Queen'
9.
My favorite Barney soft toy & DVD + Barney CDs :)
10.
Clothes, socks, and shoes - Two outfits per day is a good guideline
11.
Sun hat and sunscreen - I 'inherited' a Mickey Mouse hat from Shannon Jie Jie :)
12.
Milk bottles - we brought at least 7 bottles
13.
Lightweight plastic feeding set with utensils - we didnt make use of it
14.
First-aid kit Pain reliever and supplies for treating minor injuries - VERY IMPORTANT!

NOTE: Please packed them in an ice bag to keep it cool and remember to hand carry the Medicine!

15. Laundry soap - For handwashing soiled clothes en route
16.
Collapsible stroller - this is really useful!!!!!

Stay tune for more photos ......

18 Months

Hello Everyone!

It's been a long time I logged on to my blog - well...busy is the key word. Daddy and Mummy are really busy thesedays that they hardly have the time to sort out my photos and to upload to my blog ...guess, Daddy will do it sometime this week? Perhaps next week?

My favorite word is 'Car' - whenever I see a car I will point at it ^_^ Initially my parents are worried that I may not get used to my baby car seat as I would scream and struggled till they almost give up on me - strangely by the 3rd trial - I seemed to like my seat and thesedays, when I get into Daddy's car, I cannnot wait to sit in my favorite car seat. Next, I will call out 'Barney' - my favorite toy! Well, lately I think I still prefer my mummy to carry me instead of sitting on my own - much to mummy annoyance ...hahaha!!!

Yes, Barney my favorite toy, followed by Mickey Mouse!!! They are funny + entertaining + educational ^_^ I have 2 Barneys - one to keep me company during my rides and another in my dreamland. Ialso have not one but TWO Mickey Mouse, and a duck to keep me company whenever I feel bored ...however, Barney is still my favorite toy! I also loves to watch Dibo - the purple dinosaur ....all my favorite cartoon characters hee hee....

I love to play this 'game' if you ask me for the different parts of my body. I can tell you where is my hair, my cheeks, my nose, my eyes, my tummy, my feet, my finger and I am most happy to show you my teeth (oh yes, I only have 4 teeth - this makes Mummy worried) well not any more, I am going to have THREE more new teeth ...the happiest person on earth is Mummy!!!! She cant wait to see my teeth to 'grow' >_<

Theseday, I am able to mutter more words e.g. 'car park', 'car keys', 'beat' (if you use the cane) - 'scared', 'flowers', 'stars', 'bird', 'bear', 'ball', 'shoes' .....I managed to get the last word of each sentence ..I learned new words as days go by and I enjoy every moment of this special bonding with my parents, Jie Jie, grandparents, aunties and uncles ...

I have also grown taller and skinnier - I was sick for 2 weeks due to 'teething' lost my appetite and sleep too ....well this is part of growing up ....

Well, I am going for my first holiday soon! I am excited and of coz my parents will be the busiest hee hee

A lot of things to do ....hmmmmm.... well there will be a checklist for baby - as to what to bring, what not to bring etc etc .... stay tune!

My First Baby Steps

At 14 months to be exact, I can walk a bit with the help of my parents, grandmother etc. Yes, my first baby steps ... it is amazing ... I am thrilled too!

Let me see, my parents brought me to see a doctor in the polytechnic today - well my mummy thinks the GP didnt really test me on my motor skills etc. properly so decided to bring me to see a doctor in the clinic .. well, in the end I am considered too 'big' well past 3 months, 6 months, 9 months the next assessment should be done when I am 18 months old ... heee so I do not fit in any so called category ...well ..at least my mummy know how to assess me in the future (the nurse taught her how to do it) cross my fingers!
